Water Volleyball Club

The Water Volleyball Club plays organized, scheduled games:

Monday through Thursday nights from 5:30 to 8:30 and on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00.

Any resident wishing to join the Water Volleyball Club should contact us at SolivitaWaterVolleyball@gmail.com

PLAYING THE GAME:

The rules are simple: You may hit the ball 2 times and at least three people must contact the ball (a plastic ball) before it crosses the net. This makes sure that a number of people are involved at all times. Player skills are assessed to ensure players of all levels can participate in a fun yet competitive game. Everyone can participate, even those with physical impairments.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU WANT TO JOIN:

Players who wish to join the Water Volleyball Club should contact us at SolivitaWaterVolleyball@gmail.com. Prospective players will need to come to three weeks of introduction to the game, skills training, and play. The instruction is once per week, on Thursday or Saturday which will be scheduled by our trainers. This will help players become familiar with the game, learn and demonstrate skills to help with player development, and assure that new players are placed in a level of play that will best utilize their skill set. The three sessions do not need to be consecutive, but the players’ participation in the three sessions must be documented by one of the trainers at each session. All levels of players are welcome, from those who have never played to seasoned players.
